This hotel met the needs, we recommend to all. Beautiful and lovely location - only a short distance to everywhere we needed. You could walk to souvenir shops and all the major shops.

Not one thing.

It is a decent base for one night, has absolutely gorgeous views of the beach. Marvellous location right on the shore perfect views, in the lovely area. Plus, 5 minutes drive from Kaikoura Coastal Track...

the staff was genuinely helpful and knowledgeable, as well as host. the hotel was in a beachfront setting directly in front of the ocean.

Excellent beachfront location just off the beach, and public BBQ area, The Pier in the opposite direction and a wonderful coastal hike to the right.

Nothing not to love.

I would say it's amazing base for staying and exploring Kaikoura. The rooms are high standard with magnificent views of the ocean. The staff is knowledgeable and excellent, and the host too. Would come here again, I truly enjoyed the hotel.

The breakfast offered a great selection of brilliant meals. The location was stunning for me, to The Pier in the opposite direction.

Very comfy beds and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a microwave oven. Ample bathroom and bathtubs with good sewerage.

It was in a marvellous location close to restaurants and eateries. The staff were affable up until the day we left.

Our stay at Anchor Inn Motel was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and helpfulness from the staff. The room we stayed in was pristine, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight of our trip was when the staff recommended a nearby beach where we could see seals. It was truly a memorable experience. We couldn't be happier with our stay at Anchor Inn Motel and will definitely be recommending it to others. I highly recommend this hotel for an amazing holiday experience.

Amicable and very very nice staff, functional king studio. The ocean view from the window was gorgeous! Location right by the lookout at the water tower spectacular, cafes and peninsula seal colony. Also, to Christ church.

the anchor inn beachfront motel was an amazing place to stay in kaikoura. the spacious room, comfy bed, and great kitchen facilities exceeded our expectations. the location right across from the beach was perfect for a romantic trip and the friendly staff made our stay even better. highly recommend!

The ocean view and the comfortable bed were the best aspects of our Thanksgiving stay. The motel was conveniently located near town and the beach. , the room was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchenette.

The Anchor Inn Beachfront Motel is ideally located with close access to a variety of places to eat. The friendly staff are more than happy to book you into a fabulous restaurant like The Pier or the Encounter Cafe, both offering delicious meals with amazing views. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with everything you could need for a pleasant stay.

The hotel lacks certain facilities you might expect, like a swimming pool or gym.

the room was even better than expected - spacious, beautiful, with a kitchen and a breathtaking ocean view. the bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower had fantastic water pressure. the location was ideal, close to town yet private and quiet. anchor inn was a superb choice, highly recommended.
